The Widow’s Sons Motorcycle Riders Association is possibly
the fastest growing group in the motorcycle world.
The Widows Sons were founded February 18th 1998 by
Brother Carl Davenport. Carl had a dream. In his dream,
he saw the image of a Widow mourning the loss of her
husband. This image sparked a blaze that has spread
like wildfire around the world. Within the framework of the
Masonic Fraternal Organization, Carl created a charitable
outlet to support the Widows and Orphans of Freemasonry.
Masons around the world now have a purpose for
meeting outside the walls of their lodges and an excuse to
ride their motorcycles for charitable purposes. This impetus
has helped to create over 150 chapters in the United
States as well as international chapters reaching from
Scotland to Japan.
Ritual Riders is the first chapter of Widow’s Sons in Washington
State under the Washington Grand Chapter. Ritual
Riders was charted on the Fourth of July in 2010. Our stated
meetings are held on the third Sunday of the month at
John Paul Jones Lodge #271, in Gig Harbor Washington.
We have breakfast at 9 am before our meeting. Everyone
is welcome! You do not have to be a member to eat breakfast,
or ride with us.
