 WIDOWS SONS CAMPGROUND

A special thanks from Carl A Davenport is sent to the Wyoming Grand Chapter and their President Jeff Marvicsin for chartering the Missouri Grand Chapter and giving Carl the opportunity to swear in the new President, a special thanks to the Widows Sons of Missouri and President, Rick Casada for the hospitality. And a thanks to those from Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Wyoming, Connecticut, Florida, and England who attended.

The chartering of the new Grand Chapter of Missouri and Christening of the Widows Sons Campground got off as planned. The Grand Chapter was chartered by the Wyoming Grand Chapter with the obligation of the President given by given by Widows Sons Founder Carl A. Davenport P.M.  The Campground was also blessed in a ceremony by the Widows Sons  Founder, Worshipful Brother Carl A. Davenport as the eternal campground candle was lit by Missouri Grand Chapter President, Rick Casada. For more info about the campground contact Rick Casada. http://missouriws.com  It's a beautiful place.

THE EVERLASTING LIGHT OF THE WIDOWS SONS CAMPGROUND

Another development was made at the campground opening ceremony. The Widows Sons of Missouri will open a Widows Sons Museum in the future. The first 20th Anniversary coin was donated to the museum by Carl A. Davenport as the first item in the museum. Brother Davenport has many "first" or number one items in his possession and will be writing a description and donating them to the museum in the near future.  The original founder's patch was lost in Hurricane Ivan, but a second donated by Fred Broecker and Kathy the Patch Lady will also be donated. It is the original patch with a black background to emphasize it is the only one like it and it is the only founder's patch. If you have any Widows Sons historical relics from your chapter you would like to donate to the museum contact Rick Casada.  rick.casada@gmail.com
