WSMag Celebrates
Our 3rd Anniversary

On behalf of the staff and the WSMag I thank you for your support in our first three years of publishing. Our third anniversary slogan will be "Three years down and forever to go."



New from the WSMag for 2015


The WSMag will be introducing the WSMag Cookbook, "A Taste of the Widows Sons," in the January 2015 Issue. If the hosting chapter does not cater their events, the WSMag cookbook can be used to supply recipes for gatherings, other Widows Sons events, lodge events or just to make a fine meal for your spouse.

There are many ethnic food customs and unique food flavors in the different Widows Sons jurisdictions, and the foods of each region vary according to the ethnics of that region and are different than the neighboring region. The WSMag desires to introduce flavors of the regions to regions where they don't exist.

The chapters who have held gatherings, whether regional, or National, you can contribute your cooking methods and recipes so they will be available to other chapters to use them at their events.

The WSMag wants you to participate in the success of "A Taste of the Widows Sons."   We encourage you to add recipes that are local only to your areas so your brothers can have a taste . We'd like for "A Taste of the Widows Sons" to a provider of foods as internationally diverse as the Widows Sons.

The WSMag staff will select a recipe monthly to feature in the WSMag. Should your recipe be selected we will send a "Taste of the Widows Sons" Award Certificate to the Grand Chapter of the brother who contributed the winning recipe.
